An interior design project for a small family. The correct distribution of spaces has enhanced the great potential of this bright flat.
The flat is located in the upper part of the city of Salerno. Its potential lies in the great brightness of the living area and the overlooking of a surrounding green area.
The original flat had a very long unused entrance corridor and a small hallway that distributed access to four rooms and a single bathroom. It was decided to make use of the long corridor to create a first entrance room and a second room with a laundry and storage area.
The flat is characterised by geometric patterns. The entrance floor was designed as a carpet and its blue tint was used to create a continuous ribbon of colour along the walls. The kitchen wall covering, in Bauhaus style, was designed not to be covered by wall cabinets, but to be visible as a painting.
The kitchen lighting is provided by a recessed strip LED and a pendant lamp positioned on the kitchen island.
The bathroom has been left in its original position. It has been entirely redesigned to optimise space and to make it comfortable to use. Colour also characterises this room, alternating with neutral tones.
